Wireless Conversion Module
Already have a wired Challenger system, but want to go wireless? The Conversion Module (or Mod-Box) will convert a wired buzzer system (Challenger I, II, or III) to output radio frequencies for connection with wireless buzzers. The Conversion Module system includes:
The Conversion Module Box (Dimensions: 7 X 5 X 2.25 inches)
A set of double-ended cables for connecting the Conversion Module to a wired Challenger control box
A set of wireless Showtime Buzzers (batteries included)
The setup is simple: while the wired control box is turned on, plug one end of each cable into the box's ports, and then plug the other end of each cable into the Conversion Module's ports. The module will immediately allow connection with the wireless buzzers, which can be reset from the wired control box. The control box can also recognize
wired and wireless buzzers simultaneously
. This means that you would have the flexibility to operate your buzzer system as a wired system, wireless system, or both at once.
* Note: Wireless Conversion Module is compatible with Challenger Buzzer Box Master Control purchased after 2000 (those in black enclosures).
The Module does not work with pre-2000 Buzzer Box Master Control models (those in tan enclosures) or Discover systems.
